We are proud to announce that Truthout is the first internet only news-outlet in the U.S. to be organized by any union. Truthout's 14 staff members live around the country and contribute to the site remotely. We at the St. Louis Newspaper Guild are impressed by the quality of journalism that Truthout publishes and the concept that labor organizing can happen through a virtual card check. The Guild now seeks other internet news-outlets who similarly want to organize! To see what Truthout is all about, check out their brochure.
